Hinswood is a Planned Unit Development in the Southwest suburb of Darien, IL, consisting of 167 Single family homes, 82 Patio homes, and 48 Condominium units. The Patio homes and Condos are in Darien Proper and each have their own Boards, in addition to the master association, Hinswood Community Association ("HCA"). The single family homes are in unincorporated Downers Grove Township.
We have a private community pool and clubhouse, walking paths, playgrounds and sledding hill. The community, through its Social Club, organizes many activities throughout the year, from Easter Egg Hunts, Bingo nights, Movie nights in the park, and many more. Information about these events is shared via email or the community's Facebook group.
